Thank You for Choosing Clare Hanson Nail Artist
I am delighted to offer you one-to-one specialised nail, pedicure, and massage services. Please read these terms carefully, as booking an appointment signifies your agreement to these conditions. Save or print a copy for future reference.
Booking Fees & Payments
• Full Payments, Balances & Subscriptions: All appointments must be paid in full no later than one week (7-days) before your booking date. Where a 50% non-refundable booking fee has been paid, the remaining balance is due by 9am on the day.
• New Clients, December & January (including Bank Holiday Bookings: Full payment is mandatory for all new clients, appointments from Christmas week through to New Year & Bank Holidays. No bookings will be secured without payment.
• Rebooking Fees: A 50% non-refundable rebooking fee is acceptable where required (one week prior with remaining balances paid by 9am on the day.
• Appointments made within 48 hours of the booking time must be paid in full immediately. No exceptions.
• Late or missing payments may result in your appointment being cancelled and your slot offered to another client, in line with salon policy.

Chargeable Services
Additional charges apply for:
• Repairs: Repairs for four or more nails are charged as a new set.
• Removal: Full or partial removal before reapplication.
• Nail Art & Bling: Any design or embellishment not included in your original booking.
You may need to rebook if extra time is required but additional charges will apply.
Discounts & Promotions
• Discounts and promotions are applied automatically where applicable.
• They cannot be combined with other offers.
Appointment Confirmation and Response Responsibility:
All clients are expected to respond to booking (and rebooking) communications (via Messenger, email or SMS) within a reasonable timeframe. Failure to confirm or acknowledge your appointment within 48 hours of contact may result in your booking being cancelled and subject to the salon’s cancellation terms.

First Appointments
First appointments include an extended consultation to assess your needs. Additional time may be required for repairs or longer treatments.
Cancellation & Amendment Policy
• 50% of Treatment Costs Forfeited:
• Cancellations or modifications made less than 48 hours before your appointment.
• Incorrect bookings.
• 100% of Treatment Costs Forfeited:
• Cancellations or modifications made less than 24 hours before your appointment.
• No-shows, DNAs, or late arrivals beyond a 7-minute grace period.
Missed payments or fees may result in your booking slot being opened to other clients.
Empathy & Respecting Policies
I understand that life happens, and unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or childcare issues, can arise. However, last-minute changes, cancellations, or no-shows still significantly impact my business and other clients. Please note that these circumstances do not exempt you from adhering to the booking terms and cancellation policy, especially when they’ve previously been accepted the booking terms. This includes excuses after your 48 hours contact point (including changes in finances, childcare or holidays).
My salon policies are in place to ensure fairness for all and to protect the specialised, premium services I provide. By respecting these terms, you’re helping me maintain the high standards of care and attention you deserve.
No Refunds: Please note that all payments, including booking fees and services, are non-refundable.
Vouchers & Prepaid Services
• Automatic Usage: Prepaid services or gift vouchers will be applied to your appointment, provided that all salon policies, including cancellation and modification policies, are followed.
• Impact of Changes: If changes or cancellations are made outside of the permitted time frame, deductions from your voucher balance or forfeiture of the prepaid service may apply.
• Model & Prepaid Vouchers: A holding fee is standard. Prepaid vouchers roll over until their value is used, after which regular booking terms apply.
Salon Policies
• No Children or Babies: For health, safety, and comfort, children are not permitted in the salon. Bringing children will result in forfeiture of your booking fee and 100% of your service cost.
• Booking Refusals: To maintain the smooth running of the salon and ensure fairness for all clients, those who fail to adhere to these terms may have future bookings declined. Examples include repeated lateness, last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or inappropriate behaviour.
