Terms & Conditions

Thank you for selecting Clare Hanson Nail Artist for your 1-2-1 nail and pedicure needs. Below are my terms and condition, I would appreciate if you took a moment to time to read.

Appointments: can still be made directly with me (for those who prefer to do so) and via the Jena booking app https://clarehansonnailartist.jena.site. Please include your name and contact details (email address and telephone/mobile number), when registering and booking for the first time, without these I will not be able to contact you to confirm (or discuss) your appointment.

1. Full payment is necessary to secure your appointment(s) and is payable within two hours of booking. Slots will be made available where payments have not been received. Please note where a 50% booking fees is agreed will be non-refundable. This includes where booking (holding) fee (paid by stipulations) are agreed.

1.1. The same booking terms apply to all model and voucher (annual pre-paid, new client, discount, promotions and gift) services.

2. When booking (or rebooking) include any addon and additional chargeable services and treatment(s) you require that are not part a normal nail or pedicure service; repairs, removal (before reapplication), full removal and any nail art, designs or bling.

2.1. Full payment is required for all new client bookings and same-day appointment(s)

2.2. Upfront payments are welcome for clients (or giftees) who prefer to pay in full for their nail or pedicure service(s)

2.3. A £10 holding fee will automatically be required with yearly services and is continually carried over to each appointment until the limit is reached, reverting to section 1 payment terms.

2.4. Booking(s) will be confirmed upon receipt of payment by email, Messenger, WhatsApp and SMS

2.5. Appointments will automatically be cancelled where no booking fee is received, as agreed

2.6. Where no confirmation has being received, please email (chanson1973.ch@gmail.com)

2.7. Four or more nails will be (and charged) as a new set

Payments are quick and easy and can be made instantly through the app using your debit or credit card and or bank transfer.

3. Discounts and Promotions: Price shown upon booking will automatically include any discounts and promotions.

4. Cancel or Amend: cancellations or amendments made to your booking within 72 hours you will be charged 50% of the booking total. Cancel within 24 hours and you will be charged 100% of the booking total. This includes any chances to treatment preference.

Post it note bookings and rebooking’s to the fridge door or in your diary (electronic, by other means).

5. Services times vary, are for guidance only and given as minutes on the booking app/website. They may be longer or shorter depending on many factors, but not limited to:

5.1. The condition of the nails and or limited hand/joint mobility

5.2. Any additional, adapted (chargeable) add-on services and treatments (including specific and required service changes)

5.3. In salon nail consultation (as part of salon and insurance policy)

6. On the day additional, altered (by me), or adapted services and treatments, including retail sales; will be charged separately and paid for in full (along with any remaining balances) before leaving the salon by bank transfer, using Sum Up (chip and pin/contactless) or cash payments, no exceptions.

7. Incorrect bookings: Will be charged 100% of treatment costs, including service upgrades (changes, cancellations, rescheduled appointments) made on the day or upon arrival.

8. I reserve the right to charge a late fee, including any remaining service costs where a client appointments changes (or cancellations) are made within 72 hours booked appointment.

8.1. £5 fee – 71:59 - 48 hours

8.2. £10 fee – 47:59 – to the day of the appointment

9. Late Arrivals: Seven minutes' grace will be given anything over, and this will be classed as a no-show. You will forfeit your booking fee and incur 100% of your service fee and be required to reschedule your appointment.

9.1. If part of the treatment(s) goes ahead, you will still be charged 100% of the services booked.

10. No Show: 100% of the service fee will be charged, including a £15 no show fee, and all future bookings will require to be paid in full when failing attend your appointment.

11. Prohibited: In the interest of health and safety and your comfort, please do not bring babies and small children into the salon.

11.1. You will forfeit your booking (or deposit) fee and incur 100% of your service costs

11.2. You will be required to reschedule

12. When booking directly, bank transfer booking fee and or full payments are welcome

Bank Transfer payment requests: Payments are to be made within two hours (or agreed pay by times) where bank transfer payments are requested, and immediate for any on the day addon or retail sales.

Clients who do not adhere to booking terms and conditions and I reserve the right to reject appointments entirely. This may include but not limited to previous instance(s), repeated lateness, last minute changes to services, no shows, turning up with children (when prohibited), abusive behaviour towards customers or myself.

By submitting payment you are confirming your acceptance of the terms and conditions stated above.
